Why you should go for a Abseiling Course (Basic) / Rope Work) with us?

You should go for a Basic Abseiling Course so that if you like to participate in outdoor activities (adventure activities) and go for adventure travel, you will know if the people organising the tour are compromising on safety or doing things wrongly and putting you in danger as in Abseiling, there is no room for MISTAKES on the part of the person whose hands you are putting your life in and you will be able to spot a mistake straight away and ask that it be corrected.

It is also good for people who, after going through the course, find that they have an interest in Abseiling and Rope work and wish to go on to more advanced stages in future or even for those who have an interest in mountaineering or becoming instructors in this field.

Your beginners abseiling course will start on a small ‘cliff’ and practicing as many times as you like. As you progress throughout the day, challenges will be put before you. Race your mate down a sheer cliff face, 15 metres above your daily comfort zone. Launch off and bound to the bottom in as few touches on the wall as you dare.

Whilst we place a lot of emphasis on fun and adventure throughout the day, you will also learn the important skills needed to abseil in safety anywhere - cliff-top safety, care of equipment, safety checks and correct abseiling techniques. The guides are encouraging and entertaining and a very useful source of knowledge, so ask them anything you so desire about rope work.

At the completion of the day you will have the skills to qualify you as a basic abseiler and will be competent enough to tackle more advanced abseils and rap jumps or try your hand at Multi pitch Abseiling and more...............

Water Abseiling / Canyoning (also known as canyoneering) is one of the most modern adventure sports that allow us to discover the wonders and mystery of uncontaminated nature. Walking, jumping, swimming you will discover fantastic canyons and face the challenges of incredible gorges. During this unique journey of unforgettable experiences you will be accompanied by Canyoning professionals and expert guides.

What do you need?
We supply all the equipment except shoes (trekking boots are preferred since they will get wet), Change of clothes, and don't forget to bring a sense of adventure / fun / humor / enthusiasm and a flexible attitude!

Who can participate?
Almost everyone, from 6 years of age and older.

Self Drive (transfers can be arrange from Kuala Lumpur, additional cost involve)

Timing are estimates only

0900 hrs	Meet at Batu Caves (wait at Rani's Restaurant).
0915 hrs	Group up and briefing, from here we will trek for 25 (+-) minutes.
1000 hrs	The abseiling course starts with learning the main 4 knots, anchor points, safety and much more.....
1200 hrs	Secure anchor point, and start Abseiling over the short cliff or over a bridge
1600 hrs	Activity ends.
1330 hrs	Tour Ends

0900 hrs	Class room session on First-Aid
1015 hrs	Tea Break
1030 hrs	Continue First-Aid
1200 hrs	Break for Lunch

Course Info

Almost everyone, from 16 years of age and older.

How to get there - More information on Selangor River
This is on the Kuala Kubu Baru to Fraser’s Hill road. The Put-In is just before the Sg Selangor bridge which is about 5 km from the town of Kuala Kubu Baru. From there the guides will take the group to the put-in point. All guest are to proceed to KKB using their own transport unless we are requested to supply transportation as well at an added cost. Passengers must sign a waiver form prior to departure.

What to Bring, Change of clothes (one set of dry clothes), sarong, personal medication and craving, river sandals or sport shoes with lace. A pair of sock is recommended if using sport shoes, straps for spectacles or goggles for contact lenses, towel, shoes, slippers, sun block, insect repellent, personal toiletries, some snacks, waterproof camera (optional), and don't forget to bring sense of adventure / fun / humor / enthusiasm and a flexible attitude!

What to Wear
Wear comfortable, Sport shoes, T-shirt, long pants, sunglasses and hat.

Due to the nature of the tour, the weather, road condition, local circumstances, prevailing safety factors, the route & itinerary may vary to those published but the content of the tour will remain the same. The final decision of the actual itinerary will be made by us on the day of the course.

Basic Terms, No Refund will be entertained in case of "NO SHOW" or "UN-USED" Service.

All participants will be required to sign a Liability Release Form before departure.
