Kiulu River - This is more of a beginner's river. Kiulu River is suitable for beginners aged 5 years old to 65 years old that craves mild adventure whilst safely enjoy the rafting trip. We recommend advanced paddlers to go to Padas River

Kiulu River is located on the northwestern part of Sabah in a small town called Kiulu which are recognized as being the second most beautiful village in Malaysia. Kiulu River is calssified as Class I - II river.

Daily Departure

0800 hrs
(day trip)

Kiulu River (Grade I to II) Pick up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel in the morning and depart for Kiulu River (about 1 ½ hrs drive). Northbound towards the lush valleys of Mount Kinabalu which takes you pass the towns of Inanam and Menggatal. As you approach the small town of Kiulu in Tamparuli District, selection is made by the river guide for a suitable starting point. Upon arrival, you will be introduced the use of the equipment and briefed on the safety and rafting techniques. Return to city in the mid-afternoon.

Special Note : River rafting is subject to the water level and weather condition. If rafting is not possible to be conducted, an alternative tour may be suggested.

Take Note (fine print) : Due to the nature of the tour, the weather, road condition, local circumstances, prevailing safety factors, the route & itinerary may vary to those published but the content of the tour will remain the same. The final decision of the actual itinerary will be made by us on the day of the tour.

Package excludes : Personal Expenditure, Other items not mentioned in itinerary.

What to Bring : Bring along swimsuit, shoes with rubber soles, extra dry clothes and no valuables, and don't forget to bring sense of adventure / fun / humor / enthusiasm and a flexible attitude!
