Padas
River is situated in the interior of southwestern part of
Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late
19th century in Borneo). Basically, this trip will give you two
experiences advantages - 1) Excursion of Class III-IV river, 2) and suitable
for aged from 12 to 55 years old
The
adrenaline rush excursion covers a distance of 9km of this rather
muddy 200 km river that holds 7 exciting and tough rapids!
These
rapids carries amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break
Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada
Rapid and Head Hunter Rapid. Each rapid will give you the feel of
the motion as what the name means.

route and extended rafting journey to 23KM
0700hrs
Meet and depart from Kota Kinabalu by road to Tenom Town. Tenom
is a small town covers 2,409 Sq. KM located in interior district
of Sabah and it is also the centre of the Murut tribe. The Tenom
Town was formerly called Fort Birch in the colonial period.
1100hrs
Arrive at Tenom Town train station, visiting local stall or have
a cup of coffee Tenom and get change, bags or luggage will be
storing at our van and will be transfer to Beaufort Town.
1230hrs
Depart by train for 30 minutes to Pangie Village – starting
point, upon arrival lunch will be serve by the riverside at Asia
Paddler Centre.
1330hrs
After lunch, safety equipment will be provided, safety briefing
will conducted by Asia Paddler Trip Leaders before raft down the
most challenge and excitements thrills rafting journey in
Borneo. The Padas Whitewater Rafting will cover 12KM with 09
major rapids and stop for a rest before continuing rafting
journey with spectacular rainforest of Borneo to pull out point.
1600hrs
Upon arrive at Halogilat Village – Ending point, gearing off,
clean up, enjoy light refreshment and train ride to Beaufort
Town
1800hrs
Arrive at Beaufort Town, onboard coach or van
transferring back from Beaufort Town to Kota Kinabalu City. End
of service.
