Taman Negara National Park is one of the world's oldest rainforests national park which stretching over an area of 4,343 square kilometers. The National Park covers three important Malaysian states of Pahang (2,477 km), Kelantan (1,043 km) and Terengganu (853 km) and located in the center of Peninsula Malaysia. This is by far the Best-kept Tropical Rainforest and the Great Natural Wonders of the world.

Taman Negara boasts a famous ecotourism destination in the country with exciting geological and biological attractions include jungle trekking, climbing, night safari, bird watching, boating, fishing, swimming, photography and camping. This primeval rainforest is also a home to numerous rare species such as the Indochinese Tiger, Malayan Gaur, Sumatran Rhinoceros and Elephant.

With so much to see and do, other attractions found near Kuala Tahan, Park headquarters for Pahang state, feature the longest canopy walkway, Gua Telinga (cave system) and Lata Berkoh (rapid). Before entering, all visitors to Taman Negara must obtain permits from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. Various choices of accommodation are available for different level of comfort ranging from a budget hostel, lovely chalet to a luxury resort.

Location
Taman Negara is located in Kuala Tahan, a National Park Headquater. The Park is 260 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur and 280 kilometers west of Kelantan. Visitors can access the rainforest by road and by boat.

Taman Negara straddles the interior border regions of Kelantan, Pahang & Terengganu, boasting a continuous evolution history that spans 130 million years. Owing to a state legislation in 1925, about 1,300 sq. km. of tropical jungle in its natural state was designated the Gunung Tahan game Reserve. In 1939, the three Sultans of the above-mentioned states declared the area a National Park. It was renamed King George V National Park. Following the nation's independence from the British in 1957, the park was officially given the name it goes by now.

Gunung Tahan (Mt. Tahan), The trail leading up peninsular Malaysia's highest peak is 55 km. from the Taman Negara Resort. The climb is strenuous and demands sound physical and mental fitness.

Day 1

Lunch / Dinner (local cuisine)

0800 hrs	Pick up from any hotel in Kuala Lumpur & transfer to Taman Negara National Park, via Batu Cave (short visit), on the way we will stop for light breakfast at Batu Cave and lunch will be served before or on arrival in Taman Negara.
1300 hrs	Arrive in Taman Negara, check in.
1400 hrs	Mild activities (swimming at crystal clear river - subject to timing), Jungle Trekking to Teresek Hill (optional) and Walk on the Canopy Walkway, visit Aboriginal Village (see how the Aboriginal start fire only with Rattan & Hunting skill using blow pipe) and Rapid Shooting.
1900 hrs	Dinner at floating restaurant at the river side

Day 2	Breakfast / Lunch (local cuisine)
0800 hrs	Breakfast at floating restaurant
0930 hrs	Boat ride to Lata Berkoh (very scenic boat ride into rainforest)
1200 noon	Check out and lunch in Jerantut town, and transfer to Kuala Lumpur or transfer to Airport (KLIA or LCCT) can arrange for additional RM150.00 per vehicle. Transfer to other destination can be arrange for a fee.
1700 hrs	Estimate arrival, Arrive in Kuala Lumpur. End Tour

Car / van with driver cum guide, all return land & river transfers from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya, private room at resort (twin sharing), all entrance fees, 2 breakfast / 2 Lunch / 1 dinner (local food), Light Refreshments, Drinking Water, hiking to Teresik Hill (only if time & weather permits), canopy walk, visit Lata Berkoh via boat (very scenic boat ride into rainforest), night jungle walk & etc.
